Stray dog leads to rescue of 46 animals 

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Thanks to Oldies but Goodies Cocker Rescue, 46 dogs are under the care of several veterinarians within the organization's network, according to the organization's blog.

Park backers irked by lack of specifics from Boston 2024

Thursday evening, more than 150 residents from Jamaica Plain, Roxbury and Dorchester came to the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse to listen to a presentation from the Boston 2024 executive bid committee. Event organizers from the Franklin Park Coalition expected an informative meeting for the community about what changes to the historic park could be expected, but instead attendees were met with few details and fewer answers.

BU startup places first in inter-collegiate tech competition

Downtyme, cofounded by Boston University College of Engineering juniors Barron Roth and Luke Sorenson, placed first out of nine schools participating in the second annual Massachusetts Institute of Technology Enterprise Forum of Cambridge's Beantown Throwdown startup competition Wednesday.
